안녕하세요 Annyeonghaseyo! (Good evening!)
Today, on the second day since Kyoshu-sama and his family arrived in Korea, a meeting with Kyoshu-sama took place with the leaders of churches and centers who gathered from around the country to Masan Johrei Center.
First, under the lead of Kyoshu-sama, all attendees prayed the Amatsu Norito. After Kyoshu-sama channeled Johrei, he read the Opening Words. Next, Rev. Yun, Headquarters President, stood to give a greeting and said, “Until now, we have been studying Meishu-sama’s teachings with your messages as our guide. But since we established the Korea Headquarters, this is the first time we have welcomed you here and can receive your guidance directly. I sincerely thank you for this.”
Next, Rev. Shirasawa, President of Izunome Group, reported to everyone the current movements of the illegitimate Board of Executive Directors of Sekai Kyusei Kyo, the Grand Autumn Service that took place in Osaka, as well as the establishment of World Church of Messiah in Brazil. He expressed gratitude for the Korea Headquarters for being among the first to announce their course in support of Kyoshu-sama and declare their will to serve in this entirely new phase of divine work based on their convictions and beliefs. He called on everyone, “Let us serve in this entirely new divine work where each and every one of us accept God’s Light with the name of Messiah embedded in it and all together convey this to the world.”
Kyoshu-sama talked about the sequence of events that led to his message delivered at last year’s Beginning of Spring Service while looking back on the church purification 30 years ago and sharing his thoughts on the Holy Seat of Kyoshu. He touched on how Izunome Kyodan was established under the banner of a Kyoshu-centered organization and the situation he finds himself in now.
Afterwards, in a question and answer session, Kyoshu-sama took the time to personally answer questions from staff ministers.
“In Korea, I believe that for many years, we practiced Johrei mainly from a therapeutic approach. In regard to Johrei in this entirely new phase of divine work, we have received your messages. However, myself included, I believe there is the reality that it is difficult to change [this way of thinking]. Could you provide us guidance as to how we may receive permission to make this change?”
Kyoshu-sama’s guidance (excerpt):
“Japan is the same. Meishu-sama taught us Johrei and made it so that if you are a member, anyone could channel Johrei. And we were able to know that through Johrei, there are many miracles. I believe that the miracles of Johrei, in itself, is not our purpose. Sure enough, I believe that we need to think of it from the point of view that everything is for the purpose of God’s creation. God’s purpose of creation is to bear a child in His own likeness. And in order to do so, I believe He is doing His best and saying to us, “Hurry, I want you to return to the heaven that I originally bore you in. I want you to know your true parent, God and return to My heaven.” I believe Meishu-sama taught us Johrei for that purpose.
“Meishu-sama teaches us about medicinal toxins. I would like to think about the meaning of this. Medicine, too, is also [part of] all things. It is made up of molecules. Each molecule has a nucleus. Inputted within the nucleus of a molecule of all things, is God’s will of creation and at the same time, all things wish to be useful to God’s work of creation. Human are made up of all things. Because all things exist within us, it makes our consciousness work. We are one with all things. And so, that we are here, in itself, is an expression that God is creating. Haven’t we humans been using all things for our own purpose?
“We have neglected the will of all things, in other words, we have neglected God’s will. With that, we swallowed and used medicine with the thought that we want it to do something for our bodies. Sure enough, all things would not be happy about that, would they? When Meishu-sama spoke about the meaning of medicines being toxins, I believe Meishu-sama was trying to teach us that using medicine, using the art of medical treatment without even considering all of creation, without considering God’s will, is moving farther away from God’s will.
“And so, if we were put in a situation where we had no other choice but to take medicine, we would thank medicine, as we would thank all things. God prepared all things for us so that He could make us His children. For that purpose, all things are diligently working. I believe it is certainly not a bad thing to use medicine thinking in this way. I think that all of creation, that God, would be happy about this.”
After Kyoshu-sama read the Closing Words, a commemorative photo was taken, and at the end, Kyoshu-sama and his family exchanged handshakes with each and every participant.
For participants, the meeting was an unforgettable moment. In the name of Messiah, which is one with Meishu-sama, they newly resolved to serve in the divine work that Meishu-sama is truly wishing for.
