On December 26, the Ancestors Enshrinement Service took place in front of the Atami Zuiun-kyo Sacred Grounds Su no Hikari Kyodan Headquarters Sacred Altar. As Officiant, Kyoshu-sama enshrined the souls of ancestors from Su no Hikari Kyodan, Izunome Group, Toho no Hikari Group (members who transferred their membership from Toho no Hikari/MOA to Su no Hikari Kyodan), as well as requests from Korea, Portugal, U.S.A., and Australia.
This month, all the ancestors from Sekai Kyusei Kyo Korea Headquarters—2,003 families and 14,026 individual souls—were enshrined by Kyoshu-sama. Rev. Yun, President of the Korea Church, came to the service all the way from Korea and witnessed the ceremony.
At Izunome Group, by walking together with Kyoshu-sama who oversees all ceremonies and rituals, we hold these services in a way that our ancestors may be enshrined in a respectful manner, in a manner that they may be reassured and comforted. For that reason, requests from members who wish to enshrine their ancestors under Kyoshu-sama‘s care has reached a total of 50,870 families and 153,141 individual souls (including Su no Hikari Kyodan, Izunome Group, Toho no Hikari Group and overseas churches).
Continuing next year, too, Ancestors Enshrinement Services are scheduled to take place each month.
The next service is scheduled for January 28.
