From August 17th through 19th, Kyoshu-sama made a missionary visit to Fukui and Kyoto, accompanied by his wife Mayumi-okusama and successor Masaaki-sama.
A Membership Meeting was held on the 17th in Fukui and on the 19th in Kyoto.
In the meetings, Kyoshu-sama gave guidance on how God’s purpose is to make us His children, and succeeding God’s consciousness, become one who always serves in the next phase of God’s work, in the phase after that and in every new phase.
Kyoshu-sama mentioned that on June 5, 1954 at Hekiun-so when Meishu-sama announced the birth of the Messiah, he said, “For humanity to be saved, ‘I’ have to appear. This is a historic incident.” Kyoshu-sama said that the “I” in “I have to appear” means Messiah – the Messiah that was born; and God – God that is one with the name of Messiah. And he clearly explained that because our soul is the soul of God that has been named Messiah, for us to recognize that “within me manifests God that is one with the name of Messiah,” means that God is showing Himself; you are saved; humanity is saved.
Masaaki-sama touched upon how even though Meishu-sama used the word “Messiah” in the name of his church, and “Glory” for the organizational publication and left us his words, “work in concert with Christianity,” “World Church of Messiah will become extremely close to Christianity,” “be born anew,” etc., until now, as a church, we did not place importance on these. Masaaki-sama believes that what Meishu-sama truly put importance on then, Meishu-sama wants to convey to us now, and said that Meishu-sama is teaching this to us repeatedly through Kyoshu-sama. And he boldy said that precisely because the time has come for us to be together to serve in this truly important divine work, now, is why we are able to walk the path seeking the spirit with which World Church of Messiah was founded
In Fukui and Kyoto, too, Kyoshu-sama and Masaaki-sama personally responded to questions from members covering a wide range of topics.
On the 18th, the Ohikari Receiving Ceremony took place in the newly reopened Fukui Church where Kyoshu-sama presented the Ohikari to new members.
Also, Kyoshu-sama and his family attended friendly meetings over dinner together with members, in both Fukui and Kyoto.
