Kyoshu-sama’s Hymns – October 1, 2019

I received breath
     When I was born into this world.
     Oh, how wrong I was
     In believing that it is the only breath!

Before setting out in Your work of Creation,
     In heaven,
     You, O God,
     Granted Your breath to everything.

I know the following truth, O Lord:
     We breathe in when You breathe out,
     And we breathe out when You breathe in.

O how precious it is!
     The breathing of Meishu-sama
     Who was born anew is within us!

——————–

The breath of eternal life!
     Allow me, O God, to receive it
     Together with all humanity and all things!
