Congratulations, everyone, on this Risshun (Beginning of Spring) Service.
The plum blossoms have begun to bloom, and the time when the scent of the beginning of spring lingers in the air.
Today, I would like to make a report to everyone all around the country. Under the guidance and approval of Kyoshu-sama, who reveals the will of Meishu-sama in this material world, here, I declare the resurrection of World Church of Messiah.
My sincere congratulations to all of you!
Just now, Kyoshu-sama presided over the service – Kyoshu-sama who determines the foundation of Sekai Kyusei Kyo’s teachings and oversees all rituals and ceremonies of Sekai Kyusei Kyo. I would like to offer my most sincere and heartfelt thanks to God and to Meishu-sama who is with God, that I, together with all of you from all over the country, am able to celebrate, with great joy from my heart, this year’s Risshun Service or “resurrection day” for World Church of Messiah that Meishu-sama originally founded 70 years ago.
Continuing from this year’s New Year Service on New Year’s Day, today, too, we find ourselves here under Kyoshu-sama’s presence and allowed to attend this very historic Risshun Service marking the resurrection of World Church of Messiah – for this, together with all of you, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Kyoshu-sama.
Also, today, I would like to present to you here Kyoshu-sama’s wife, Mayumi-okusama, and his successor, Masaaki-sama, who are also in attendance.
Mayumi-okusama, Masaaki-sama, if you will, please stand.

Here, with great pleasure, I have an announcement to make to all of you.
On January 22, Masaaki-sama’s wife, Mami-okusama, gave birth to their second daughter following their first daughter Mei-sama. Her name is Miyu spelled with two Japanese syllabary characters. Masaaki-sama, my sincere congratulations to you!
Together with all of you from all over the country, I would like to sincerely pray for Mei-sama and Miyu-sama’s sound health and growth.

Now, under the approval of Kyoshu-sama, we will be carrying out religious activities under the name of World Church of Messiah starting today, marking the 70th anniversary since February 4, 1950 when Meishu-sama founded World Church of Messiah.
Now, being allowed to be present in a historic moment that we will never forget for as long as we live, joy and delight well up from within me, so much so, that my heart almost trembles.
However, at the same time, I have been made to believe that I can never forget that I, myself, was the one that truly needed to repent.
I have been living without realizing God’s soul, the soul of Messiah, shining great divine light brilliantly within me. I made all things my own, including my soul, my life, my consciousness and my body. I also made Johrei my own. I am sincerely regretful of this.
Kyoshu-sama greatly awakened this heart of mine.
Now, I have impressed deep into my heart that only within God’s forgiveness am I allowed to be used, and it is only owing to Kyoshu-sama that I was allowed to be guided to the path of World Church of Messiah.
At the same time, that is precisely why with this revolution of our faith, including this grand transformation of Johrei, comes a grave and tremendous responsibility. I feel I must brace my heart.
In 1950, the same year when Meishu-sama founded World Church of Messiah, he presented the teaching “The practice of Johrei has changed.” I regard this time’s great transformation of Johrei as the gospel of salvation of the utmost importance, inseparably connected to receiving World Church of Messiah.
With the spirit of “Sacred Oath” as my own central pillar, accepting to take the lead in this great transformation of Johrei, and as one who has received the leaflet as a message of salvation that has not existed since the beginning of the universe, I will wholeheartedly devote myself to the truly noble divine work of conveying the truth of the name of Messiah.
Everyone, World Church of Messiah that Meishu-sama founded for the true salvation of all of humanity on the day of Risshun 70 years ago has been resurrected on this historic day today. Under Kyoshu-sama, with overflowing gratitude, joy and determination, let us launch forth together as World Church of Messiah!
