At the end of last year, as the unanimous wish of the executive directors, church leaders and all staff members, we asked for Kyoshu-sama’s permission to offer the Lord’s Prayer for services and morning and evening prayers at headquarters, churches and in members’ homes starting from the 2021 New Year Service, and we received his approval.

And at Meishu-sama’s Birthday Service held on December 20, 2020, Kyoshu-sama announced the “World Church of Messiah Lord’s Prayer,” and we offered it at the New Year Service.

From here on, for services and morning and evening prayers at headquarters, churches and in members’ homes, we will be offering the World Church of Messiah Lord’s Prayer.

As Masaaki-sama also said in his greeting at the New Year Service, by the offering of this prayer, the liturgical rituals and ceremonies of World Church of Messiah for countries all over the world have been standardized.

In responding to Meishu-sama’s will when he said, “In the West, there is Christ. In the East, there is Messiah. If these two major forces work in concert with each other—one in the East, the other in the West, and if all members of the two powers diligently fight for peace, eternal peace will surely be brought about,” united as one church with members from all around the world, World Church of Messiah will serve in the upcoming divine work.
