On March 1, the Prayer for Abundance Service took place under the presence of Kyoshu-sama, Master of Rituals and Ceremonies, at the headquarters altar room. Mayumi-okusama and Masaaki-sama, Kyoshu-sama’s successor, were in attendance along with members from the Chubu Region.

The service began at 11:30 with Kyoshu-sama entering the altar room. He offered the Opening Prayer to God and then the pine branch (symbol of appreciation). With Kyoshu-sama leading, everyone chanted the divine names and offered Words of Prayer followed by the World Church of Messiah Lord’s Prayer.

Moving to the ancestral shrine and after holding the Monthly Ancestor Service, the assistant officiant sang Meishu-sama’s hymns to God. Everyone heard the Sacred Word, “Sermon from the Grand Autumn Service at Gyokusen-kyo,” and then received Johrei from Kyoshu-sama.

Next, Masaaki-sama stood to deliver his greeting. In it, he gave guidance saying that each one of us needs to think about which Meishu-sama we wish to have alive—the one that we form in our own heads or the one who has absolute power and authority. And that it is necessary for us to recognize our posture of prioritizing our own interests over God’s and of trying to justify ourselves.

He also spoke about how the current “Kyoshu-sama” of the self-proclaimed Sekai Kyusei Kyo, an Emeritus Professor of Research at Tokai University, a scholar of Hinduism and a trustee of an organization related to MOA, Mr. Nobuyuki Watase or Mr. “Nobuyuki Okada,” is not fit to be one to inherit the sacred divine work of Meishu-sama.

Masaaki-sama said with passion and intensity, and sometimes mixed in with smiles, that to attribute all works we learned from Kyoshu-sama’s guidance back to Kyoshu-sama, the legitimate Kyoshu-sama, Yoichi Okada, is the order of this current world. And it is to follow this order that gives us the necessary discipline to serve God.

Members who attended the service departed the headquarters with renewed hearts and minds and the conviction that Meishu-sama, through Kyoshu-sama, now, guide us on this wonderful path of no equal.
