Meishu-sama’s Hymns

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

How awesome and joyful it is,

When the Spirit of God named Messiah

Descends to the earth,

To this very world we now live in!

How precious it is that

The Christ descends from heaven.

Listen to the voices of celebration,

To the voices of Hallelujah!

Oh, the joy I feel!

Amidst the joyous and resounding shouts of Hallelujah!

The Messiah-Christ descends.

And, ah, it descends so quietly!

O you, the Savior, the Messiah!

You will descend at the end of time

Surrounded by the voices of Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Oh how happy it is to revere the glorious Messiah

Who descends amidst the voices of Hallelujah!

Meishu-sama’s Sacred Word
“Sermon on March 13, 1949”

: Meishu-sama, I would like to ask you about my daughter who goes to a Christian school…

: And? What’s the problem?

: Well, she prays to Jesus Christ at school and to Kannon at home, and this makes me a bit…

: A bit what? You must know that Christ and Kannon are the same thing. Christ is Kannon in the West, and Kannon is Christ in the East. It’s just like your daughter wearing both western clothes and Japanese clothes.
