Under the leadership of Kyoshu-sama, the Master of Rituals and Ceremonies, the New Year Service was held on January 1 at the World Church of Messiah Headquarters. After the service, SKK’s president, World Church of Messiah’s executive directors, regional directors and board members expressed their new year greetings to Kyoshu-sama, Mayumi-okusama and Masaaki-sama at Hekiun-so.
The first sunrise of the year appeared and as I bathed in the flash of light that began to break the darkness, a thought occurred to me.
I, who struggled desperately in the darkness, am now in the midst of this brightness thanks to having encountered Kyoshu-sama. There is only one source of light, and that source is God. And it existed at the center of my consciousness, a place that is closest to me. I can only earnestly pray that I will be able to respond to this blessing, even if in a small way.
For Mayumi-okusama, this was the first time she officially appeared in public since her purification. All attendees who saw her and received her words at the new year greeting session were moved and tears of joy flowed naturally.
President Nakadomari of SKK stated in his greeting that we are the Messiah family that is enveloped by the great love of Kyoshu-sama, Mayumi-okusama, Masaaki-sama and Mami-okusama. Everything is contained in those words. We are people who believe that the name of Messiah is engraved within us. We are people who will advance, united as one, toward the construction of the sacred grounds, toward the construction of the Holy Sanctuary of the Messiah, which will please Meishu-sama.
