The Messiah Choir 2023 Charity Concert in Osaka was held—The voices of Hallelujah surround us and are within us
On August 27, The Messiah Choir 2023 Charity Concert in Osaka was held at the Osaka City Central Public Hall. More than 300 people gathered, of which 100 were from the general public. Before the concert, the performers and the staff members received the Sacred Word of Masaaki-sama. We received special permission to share an excerpt here.
“May we all be permitted to return at this time to our Father in Heaven and offer to Him our worries and sorrows, joys and pleasures, that we feel in our daily lives, and may we be permitted to serve our Father who wishes to share the glory and joy of heaven with everyone who will gather here today. The voices of Hallelujah surround us and are within us.”
Every time I listen to the performance of The Messiah Choir, I am guided to a beautiful and pure world, and I am deeply moved by the singing voices that praise the glory of God. However, I was allowed to realize that the music and voices that move people are by no means something that newly comes in from the outside. It is precisely because God, to whom all the glory belongs, is within us that, through these singing voices, we are allowed to remember the world of heaven that exists within us and immerse ourselves in overflowing joy and emotion. It is only because we are under the leadership of Kyoshu-sama and Masaaki-sama that we can be a part of the true salvation through music, which is what God, Jesus and Meishu-sama desire for us. What a blessing this truth is! I want to keep moving forward, praying from the bottom of my heart, “May we be permitted to serve our Father who wishes to share the glory and joy of heaven with everyone.”
All monetary donations and proceeds (concert ticket fees) from this day were donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
